A bit about me...

I graduated with a Masters Degree in Sports Therapy from The University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) in 2009. Since that time I have gained experience working with Swansea Harriers Athletics Club, and started with New Dock Stars RFC in 2018. I provide injury management and sports massage support on match-days and at weekly training sessions, in addition to seeing my private clients at other times. I also work as a Fitness Instructor in the Carmarthenshire Actif Health and Fitness Gym, at Llanelli Leisure Centre.

In my free time my main weekly outlet is distance running, from 5K up to occasional Half Marathon Distances, on and off road. This is supported by regular strength and conditioning sessions at the gym. I also have a passion for hill or mountain hiking, mostly on Gower and in the Brecon Beacons when time allows. I have also enjoyed a number of trekking trips over the years, including Mt Kilimanjaro, trips to the Caucasus and Atlas ranges, and of course the Alps and Pyrenees. I always seek to challenge myself, both physically and mentally.

I like to think that my passion for sport, and all things active, give me some insight and empathy for what an injured client might be going through. You could say that I'm able to trial a lot of injury management strategies on my own aging body!
